This binding foot makes it much easier to keep the 1/4” binding straight when attaching it to the quilt.
I didn't know this foot existed until I was watching a video about finishing quilt bindings. I was blown away at how beautifully finished the top edge of the binding turned out. That was exactly how I wanted my binding to look. I have purchased many items from SPO and was excited to see that they had the foot available. Promptly ordered the foot and recently completed the binding on a quilt for a christmas gift. Several sewing friends saw how easy this foot is to use and witnessed the spectacular professional look it gives.
I have not used it yet. Appears to be a quality product and well made. It fits my Baby Lock machine so all good.

I haven't actually tried this out because I'm out of the country now and had it shipped to my sister. But I'm giving it 5 stars based on my experience with other Baby Lock presser feet and my sister's opinion that it looks like it will work great stitching down binding. We both quilt. This foot appears to be a genuine Baby Lock accessory. I intend to use it on my high shank, straight stitch Baby Lock BL500A with the shank adapter for snap on feet. If this doesn't work, I will update my review.
It has made binding absolutely painless! I have used it on 2 baby quilts, a table runner and 4 placemats and all of them were done in much less time than usual and they all turned out great, straight, even stiches and much easier and more accurate than with the joining foot I was previouly using.
