Not sure it is the right one. We have one of the earlier Bernina Record 730 sewing machines. It does not have the belt tension adjustment of some later models. I am not sure how to adjust the belt tension on it. The belt seemed too short and the only way I could make it work was to loosen the motor mounts. Not really a solution. It appears that we have more than a belt problem.

I did not receive the belt pictured above. I received a flat black one and it does have a lot of slack in it, slowing my machine down. I ordered the one as pictured above and even talked to a tech on the phone. I have no idea why the wrong belt was shipped. Very disappointed.
