I love my Quantum Stylist 9960, but this bobbin case is definitely a wear item. I am on my 3rd case in 6 years of sewing on this machine. I do use quality thread,. I am glad to have replacement parts so readily available through Sewing Parts Online.

I've tried to review this part already, but I see my review hasn't posted. I purchased the generic case because the genuine one was out of stock. I have two Quantum Stylist 9960s, and I had one bobbin case that was worn. The generic case did not work in either of my machines. It was noisy (more than the worn original case that I was trying to replace), and it would not keep proper thread tension. The return process wasn't easy either, and I am still awaiting to see if I will actually get my money back. I won't be purchasing my parts here in the future.

I ordered the generic part because the genuine one was listed as out of stock. I have two Singer Quantum Stylist 9960s, so being able to find replacement parts is helpful. The generic bobbin case doesn't work in either of my machines- it is louder than the one original case and also louder than the worn out case I was hoping to replace. My customer service experience hasn't been great so far either when reaching out. I got a response of "I do not recall others having this issue". The return policy is also unclear as to whether or not I will actually receive a refund. Needless to say, I will be buying parts elsewhere in the future.

Life saver! I will scream this to the top of every mountain. My Singer 9960 stylists bobbin case wore out because I frequently use my machine for doing Wedding gown alterations. I have a small business, I do many dress and gown alterations and can't afford to loose precious sewing time due to a non functional sewing machine. I began my search online for a new bobbin case, and found the exact case at Sewing Parts online store. Let me tell you, I never had such peace on the day that my new bobbin case arrived as the company promised. I inserted the new case in my machine and it works like a charm. I'm pleased and happy with my end result of having my sewing machine operational and now I can continue to provide my bridal gown alterations service in full force once again. It�s a pricey piece worth the penny. My machine would jam and the bobbin holder would skip and break needles and jam some more. All it needed was this piece. Could have saved money taking it to the shop so many times and just invested in a new bobbin holder.
