This is my third foot controller for my Brother Innovis 2800D. The foot controllers seem to wear out, and then the machine does not stitch smoothly and evenly. My machine is old enough now that I cannot get original parts, so this is a generic replacement. I was leery of ordering it, but the gal at Sewing Parts Online was SO helpful. She asked for a picture of the plug, then told me which one would work. She was patient and kind as we tried to get the picture to her. She was correct, as the foot works great. It's wonderful to have the machine running smoothly again! And a big plus is that the foot does not roam around on the floor when I use it, like the others did. It has something on bottom to prevent that from happening. I am super-pleased with her help and with the result!
I do love what I ordered and I am so happy you helped me identify a compatible part for my precious machine!!!! It was my mothers who passed away and it’s my peace and heartfelt connection to her when I sew. I taught myself to sew only after she was gone. She spent years trying to convince me I’d love it and I spent years rejecting her suggestion. She ensured in her will that I be given her machine and all of her sewing accessories. It sat for three years and I finally had the will to take a deep breath and pull it out. Silly to say was terrified “I’d mess it up”…. LOL. Still felt like a child that was forbidden to touch, rather play, with HER toys. But I did it and what do you know, she was right!!!! I absolutely love sewing! I regret not spending the time with her back then, but she ensured I’d feel her love even after she was gone. I absolutely could not imaging sewing on any other machine so when the pedal shorted out I was in a grief stricken panic. This machine is over 20 years old and you guys are the Hero in my story!! A simple thank you just does not seem to cover the enormous gratitude I have. This was my first purchase with Sewing parts online and it won’t be my last. :)
I found a Babylock sewing machine at a thrift store. It was missing presser feet along with a power cord and a foot peddle. Sewing Parts Online has been my go to for sewing machine accessories. The parts are quality made. It is nice to use one resource for what I need at a good price. Communication is excellent. If something is out of stock you are informed. I had a little bit of wait for this part to get back in stock. Worth the wait.
