I damaged my needle clamp screw for my brother se400 so my machine wouldn�t hold a needle when I started seeing. I now know I was probably ruined the screw because I always used it with my fingers instead of the screw driver when changing my needles. Took the screw into a local shop to see if I could get it replaced and was treated like a moron who couldn�t have actually known what was wrong with my machine myself. They wanted me to bring whole machine in so they could look at it and let me know it would be $199+ repair costs to send machine into brother if they couldn�t fix it. I finally asked if they even had the screw for me to buy and they said it would have to be ordered. I said �screw� that and decided to order here. So glad I just bought it here for such a resonance price. Even with having to pay shipping this was a great deal and came 4 days after it shipped.
