According to this listing this part is supposed to fit my Brother XL2600i but it does not. I bought this one specifically since it has a thread cutter built in to the plate which I thought was nice. The plate will only go on as much as shown in one of the pictures I attached. The hook on the end of the long skinny part is not deep enough to clip into the machine. I attached a picture showing the difference between this new plate (the light gray) and the one original to the machine (dark gray). The part is in good condition but just won’t fit my machine so I will be returning it.

That part does not fit my machine as it is too small. the left "arm" is not long enough to lock in to my machine. It should not be sold as a Babylock Symphony part. It looks very similar but it is not the correct size.

I was really happy to find this needle plate after losing mine. I almost bought an unnecessary piece because I didn't realize the plate and bobbin cover come as a unit. Also, it doesn't fit as tightly as the original, and you have to look at the little tabs and snap them in the appropriate place. Don't be discouraged if it seems loose or if there is a tiny gap once it is attached. If it lifts too easily, try inserting it again with the tabs in the right places. Happy sewing! Remember, your projects and art are needed, and don't need to be perfect. :)

Although this part was listed to for my machine, it didn't. It didn't match up at all. I did contact the company about it and they said I had waited too long to tell them it didn't work. It's my personal embroidery/sewing machine but I bring it back and forth to school. I teach sewing and the students use it to personalize their backpacks we make. I don't want to order another one because I know this size wouldn't fit. I would've gladly tried a different size after showing them how the one they sent me doesn't work but they wouldn't help me. It was an awful experience. I didn't seek out writing this review. They actually emailed me asking me to review the part. IT DOESN'T FIT!!
