These heat resistant pins are amazing. They do not slip, they stay in place. The grip is so strong. The length is perfect! I would highly recommend these to everyone -sewist and quilters alike!

Comfort Grip Magic Pins - Quilting Pins

I loved these when I first got them. However, I went on vacation for four months and they were left sitting out in a dish with some other pins in the Texas humidity inside my house. I had the air conditioner on so it wasn’t overly humid just a little bit. When I returned and I went to use them, they didn’t want to go through fabric very well. they acted like they were dull or rusted even though they didn’t look like it. The other pins in the bowl worked great. I had some of the magic pins in the case they come in inside a drawer and those were great also. Just keep them out of any humidity at all and they will stay great pins. I’m not sure why they deteriorated with a little bit of humidity.

As a professional seamstress, the right pins are everything. These pins have a great feel and are line enough to work with deep batting. Because they are a little more expensive I am careful where I use them. Some my heavier work is damaging to normal pins. So these are amazing.
