Tried to do Wonky Log Cabin without this trim tool. I didn't have all the squares you would need, so bought this and it is so much easier. Directions are easy and I love it. Never made any log cabin quilt block before this. Making a baby quilt using my scraps. I can't wait to see it done.

Haven’t used it yet. I have used the log cabin creative quilt ruler. This ruler makes it so easy to have perfect 8” squares. Even for us folks who are all thumbs. I would highly recommend buying one of these if you are planning to make a log cabin quilt.

Between the video and the ruler it was easy to follow. I did a square, it looked alright, I just need to practice.
Although I haven't used this wonky log cabin tool it looks like it will make the blocks easier.
