This multipurpose slotted ruler makes quick work of strips, squares, rectangles, diamonds, and triangles. Easy-to-read black and white markings include cutting slots every 1/2in, along with whole-inch, half-inch, and quarter-inch increments and additional guides for 1/4in and 3/4in cuts. Black lines help square blocks in whole-inch sizes up to 12in, while white lines accommodate half-inch sizes up to 12-1/2in. For fast reference, 1-1/2in cuts are identified by black stars and 2-1/2in cuts by black squares.
The built-in 45- and 60-degree guidelines help you cut accurate diamonds and triangles, while the ruler’s flexibility adjusts to the added thickness of embroidery for precise trimming and fussy cutting. Definitely a ruler you need time to get used to.
The ruler does not shift and every strip is perfectly cut. Amazing how quickly numerous stripes can be cut! Love it!
I cut 96 pieces of 2 1/2 inch slips in less than an hour. Absolutely love this ruler.
Love the markings on it and the strength of it. The first strip ruler I had allowed the blade to wobble just enough so that the cut was slightly off. This ruler doesn't do that. I'll be cutting my own strips now. Should save some money.

I have the large ruler, but need the longer one on occasion. Ordered it as a birthday gift to ME! Haven't used it as yet, but will be needing to cut binding strips very soon as the first of many cuts to come.

I should have bought this sooner! I have the mini & the squared stripology ruler, the XL made cutting larger fabric a breeze! I can’t wait to cut triangles.
Due to physical restrictions I can no longer cut fabric. So my husband is the fabrinesta. This was for my husband who is a retired engineer and cuts fabric to 1/100th of an inch!!! An otherwords, he is a perfectionist. His measurements are exact. This will help him immensely, besides adding fun to the cutting experience for him. Great tool for his fabric tool box which sits right next to his fishing box.

I belong to a group that has twice annual quilting retreats. I have been experiencing eye problems from time to time and unable to keep my rotaty cutter on the straight edge some days thus getting misshapen quilting pieces and also wasting a lot of fabric. With the Stripology XL Ruler I insert my rotary cutter and it is easily guided straight along the skit and I get a straight and accurate measurement every time not to mention how much quicker I can cut my strips and blocks because I just move the cutter from slit to slit and it goes zip zip zip! I’m really loving it!
