Someone gave me this Singer 401A and I have been trying to get it to run smoothly. I finally noticed that the disk in the machine was a #3, no wonder I struggled with it. So I saw that you guys have a disk that is #0 so I am trying it. The manual is little help. So far with disk #0 I have figured out how to easily do zigzag. It seems to be the basic disk needed for every day stitching. Thank you for carrying parts for a 69 year old machine.
