Fits perfectly on my Kenmore 158.17741. The machine did come with an ankle, but it was fussy to use, both with picking up and releasing the snap-on feet. I tried the ankle from my Kenmore 385 (identical to this product) and it worked much better, so rather than swapping constantly from machine to machine, I figured I'd pick up a second one to use for my 158. Very happy with it.

Part of my order was back ordered - so canceled that to get the part I wanted. It would have been great to get an email telling me it was on back order. I had to ask. But the part I got was correct and service was great to cancel etc.
The product description states the ankle fits Janome 3160QDC. It is not the original part that came with my machine. The foot falls out the hook mechanism. I am VERY disappointed as this part is expensive. And the part came without Janome packaging and did not have instructions.

The piece I received is right, but the screw is too small to attach to my machine, It needs to be longer and thicker.

This presser foot shank stayed on goof for not even 1 year. I purchased it not even a year ago. It worked well at the beginning and then it fell off and wouldn't work. Is there any adjustment I can make myself. The screw and wire that holds it on is in place. Please respond. It maybe something I am not doing.

For the 15 years that I have had my sewing machine this foot shank fell off. When it was in at the repair shop the owner told me about your company and I placed the order immediately. It came right away and was a very reasonable price. So far so good it's staying in place instead of falling off. It was an easy transaction!

The snap on Presser Foot Shank that came with my Janome machine broke so it doesn�t hold on to the foot. I choose this replacement since it is not the snap on style. It works great and I expect it to last longer than the one that came with my machine.

Hello - this order arrived yesterday. As I was working by comparing parts (no valid model # on my machine), am happy to report a perfect match/ fit! My only negative is how much it cost to ship this very small piece. Part cost is $15 US. With exchange and the post cost it was $70 CA - that just seems exorbitant.
