My Singer hasn't had a working light in about 20 years. I ordered the bulb when I needed some other parts. I was worried it arrived broken since it was only in a thin bubble wrap sleeve and rattled slightly, but it worked like a charm when I installed it! So glad to have the light working again... now I just have to fix the other broken part.

The knobs on the side aren't in the exact same location as the original Elna bulb; they are lower. Thus, the bulb won't stay in place inside the machine.

This bulb fits and it lights up but is no where near the brightness of the original bulb. Still need to have a directional lamp aimed at the sewing deck as the bulb just isn't bright enough on it's own.
