i havent use my thread yet, but the colors are perfect and beautiful.
Made this three yard quilt in peach and turquoise tones, but did not have the right Glide thread for it. The bright pink I had was too pink and obvious so I took a coupon for Sewing Parts Online to search for the perfect shade and found it in Salmon. See photo. Glide thread is my favorite quilting thread.
I love this glide thread for thread painting . I bought 3 shades of pink to use on this original wall quilt. It is a roseate spoonbill. This thread is perfect for thread painting, as it is lint free, lightweight , and has a bit of a sheen.

I Love Glide thread to use Bobbin and top in free motion quilting. It blends in with the quilt, and gives a rich look to it.

I like using Glide thread for free motion quilting and also for piecing quilt tops. It blends really well and is very strong.
I love the Glide thread for piecing quilts. No fibers (dust) left behind in any part of my machine and my sewing goes so much faster. No stopping for bobbin issues! I have only used white for piecing so far but looking forward to using some colors for the actual quilting. I buy some whenever I catch it on sale. I had been looking for polyester thread that was both strong enough for every day sewing and pretty enough for decorative stitches. GLIDE fits the bill! Beautiful colors and strong seams. This thread glides through my vintage Singer so well and that speaks volumes.
