The color is gorgeous. I used it in an embroidered desert scene and it was perfect.

Floriani Neutral Tones Embroidery Thread (1093yds) Details
Product Description
If you struggle with lackluster thread that frays and breaks, try Floriani's fabulous 40wt Polyester Embroidery Thread. This popular thread has a high sheen and tensile strength, resulting in a professional-looking finished product. Thanks to Floriani's colorfast guarantee, you will never have to worry about your thread color fading. Each spool holds 1093 yards of 100% polyester thread. It's recommended that you use a chrome embroidery needle when doing high-speed embroidery, but if you are working on specialty fabric, you should use a needle best suited for that fabric type. Choose from 360 fabulous Floriani colors to best suit your project.
Floriani strives to produce the highest quality of thread, so all manufacturing process phases are performed in-house to ensure quality. Each lot of new raw material is inspected and tested to ensure that the quality of materials going into production is sufficient for producing a quality product. The same is true for the finished thread. An internal lab is used to test random samples of raw materials and finished cones for control reasons.
When ironing, use a low-temperature setting and cover the embroidery with a pressing cloth or press from the backside. Floriani thread is washable or dry cleanable. Use caution when using a washer and dryer so as not to expose your stitches to open zippers or buttons, as this may cause a snag. Use a mild detergent and never leave embroidered articles soaking in water or a pile of wet garments.
*Although we do our best to ensure color accuracy in our thread images, please note that your screen may produce small variances in color, shade, or hue.

Machine embroidery for over 11 years…have owned three Baby Lock and now down to one Brother multi 10 needle embroidery machine - only use Floriani embroidery threads!
Floriani is the best thread. My machine loves it, so I am happy. I'm glad I found a place that I can order it at a reasonable price.

I am only leaving 1 of the 12 reviews that I could leave. It is not due to the thread itself, but more on the practices and policies of the company itself. Last time I ordered and paid extra for 2 business day processing. After 4 days and not shipped I reached out. Was told "I" chose an item that was out of stock and that they were holding up the complete order until that item restocked. NO, I double checked before placing that all items I chose stated in stock online. Then AGAIN on this order same thing happened. I chose only in stock items. Paid extra again for 2 days. Called on 3rd day, same thing, OOS. Their site isn't accurate, they hold up the complete order without notifying you, and take your $ you paid for quicker processing. Both my other suppliers do NOT hold up the rest of the order. They NOTIFY YOU of OOS, ship the in stock items NEXT DAY, and will ship the rest at their cost when it is in stock. Time to drop this company and use only my other suppliers due to better stock availability, better notification, better policies, quicker shipping times, etc.

I bought two shades of gold Floriani for my project. Your shipping was fast and appreciated it. Floriani is my favorite machine embroidery thread - it has a fantastic shine and really adds pizzazz to my projects.
Floriani has been and still is my favorite thread!
All the thread is great, I only use this brand.
The thread is great, and this is the first time I have tried this brand. The embroidery comes out perfectly, and the thread has a nice luster. Will order more as needed.
