The Floriani Stitch N Wash Fusible Tearaway Stabilizer is outstanding for light, open work type embroidery designs on lightweight cotton and linen. This unique stabilizer is created with half soluble and half non-soluble fibers. Once the design is complete, wet it, and the stabilizer will tear away with ease without warping any stitches or damaging delicate fibers of heirloom quality fabrics. The non-soluble part of the stabilizer will remain throughout the life of the clothing, and any remanence of the stabilizer near the design will wash away in the laundry. Fusing the Floriani Stitch N Wash Fusible Tearaway Stabilizer onto the back of the fabric will help keep the material tight. This version also eliminates the need for basting or sticky spray adhesives.

This stabilizer is perfect for doing running stitch designs on these lightweight tea towels. The stabilizer stays w/ the stitches but washes away where you want it to. Gives it more transparency than tear away and so much easier to use. Always get rave reviews!
I have changed to the Floriani stitch and wash for doing turned edge machine appliqué and really like the fact that it gives a softer finish
