Requires special wire connectors to circuit board. Not easy to find. Wish had instruction sheet. Video doesn’t cover this connector type

Just what I needed for my vintage Singer 329J. This controller gives me the precise control I need, from precise single stitches to full-throttle. Comfortable to use, much better than the original pushbutton-style Singer controller. Caveat #1: some instructions would be helpful! Yes, Boomer did watch the video, but the part shipped had different connections than the one in the video. Does it matter which lead from the cord goes to which wire? Well, I've got a 50/50 chance of getting it right. (either it didn't matter, or I guessed right :0) Caveat #2: the little plastic grommet that locks the cord into the controller box was a BUGGER to install! Getting that installed took longer than all the rest of the process combined. Some hints on how to do this would have been very helpful (see Caveat #1).

The first one of these was ordered at the end of April. Worked fine until the end of August. Then it would not shut off. Ordered a 2nd one thinking that this one was a fluke. The second one lasted 6 weeks before it quit working. Return policy is one month from purchase (or so I was told). Don't waste your money on this product.

The foot is good but a slightly different model than shown in the installation video. I was able to DIY but had to search a while for a better example.

The universal pedal that I received was defective. After correctly attached the cord, the pedal does not make any connection once the pedal is depressed. We used a volt meter to check the continuity and it did not make any connection. I went through the process of getting an RMA# & returned the pedal. The return was receiving by SewingPartsOnline.com on August 30 and I still have not received any notifications from them regarding a refund or replacement. Save yourself the hassle and just shop a local business!

It was the product I ordered, unfortunately it did not repair the problem. I was surprised it did not include the plug part from cord to foot. Maybe that is what is broken with my cord. i would like to return it.
