You should thank the person who wrote that it worked on her Juki 2010Q. I had the same problem with the foot pedal where all it did was cut the thread. I was looking at other Juki's and saw the foot She said it worked on her 2010Q. Works great!

This is a wonderful replacement for my crazy-acting original pedal for my JukiTL2010Q. Almost from the beginning, the original pedal would occasionally cut threads when my foot was nowhere near the back of the pedal . Eventually it reached a point where the speed would surge fast and slow while sewing, and then it started cutting threads at every beginning of stitching, and then every few stitches . I wanted to switch to this pedal back then, but it was so popular that it was always out of stock. Now, I have a more dependable pedal with this dual control, and I can use my machine again.

I shut My original in the door of my sewing cabinet and put a crimp in the cord and it quit working. I could not find one exactly like it so I replaced it with one that was available. Well it quit working after three years. When I started looking in earnest I found one of the originals. I’m so thrilled with it. I love that I can reverse with a touch of my toe.

So glad to finally get this dual pedal. Had to wait months for it to come back into stock. Hubby had done a temporary fix to pedal so thread cut mode would not kick in and it worked pretty good but only short term. Glad to have this pedal now.
