Purchased for an Elna Lotus that was missing the original pedal/cord. Fits tight in the socket but once its seated it works great. Better tight than sloppy loose.

Apparently it wasn't made very well. The plug kept falling out of machine. My friend pushed so hard on it, now it won't come out, but it works. For the price it is very cheaply made.

I was very satisfied with the foot control/cord when received, BUT after using it for a few hours it started 'running on its own'!! didn't have to depress the foot control and the only way I could stop it was to pull that plug from the outlet!?? When it was working properly it sewed very well, but there must be something faulty with the control.

This is the only product that I have yet tried. The belts ordered are for a sister's machine and I have not seen her yet to deliver them. This foot control did fit my Elna Super purchased in 1977 which is amazing. I have to say though that it doesn't fit tightly, although the original one does. This one works but I have to shim up the spaces in order to get it to stay in. All in all, though, I was thrilled to even find a foot pedal for a machine that old.

Happy to find a replacement pedal for an older Elna, the power plug is the correct configuration, but it could fit the plug on the machine a little better. It takes a bit of effort to establish a solid connection.

I have an ancient (1974) Elna sewing machine that the foot pedal finally died. You folks found a replacement for me. It's not an official Elna part so it's a little loose where it plugs into the machine, but with some plastic "stuffing" it stays stable enough. There's nothing wrong with my machine, so it's wonderful to use it again. Thank you for finding this.
