I was given an older model serger (80's?) but it had no foot pedal/power cord or operator's manual. Today you can get practically anything online so for @ $40 for the cord and $16 for the operator's manual, I now have a wonderful operating serger. The operator's manual, however, was a black and white photocopy of the original. It would have been helpful if it had been in color as the threading examples are in color. I have never had a serger before but I managed to understand it and it works great.

The powercord/foot pedal combo works on my Husqvarna Viking H-Class 200s serger. Took a point off the raiting for cost because it was close to $60 for this part including shipping. I know they have proprietary cords and stuff so they could choosen to price this affordably.
My grandson borrowed my thirty year old serger to use at university. He managed to lose the foot and cord combination in his room which renders the machine useless. He has searched for it through everything that came back home with no success. After several unsuccessful trial and errors I searched on your site which enabled me to secure a perfect replacement so my machine is back in business. Bought this as a replacement for a White serger model that is over 20 yrs old. Original foot pedal shorted out. Sewing Parts Online website suggested this foot pedal as a replacement. I purchased this to use for my Pfaff 1471 machine. It works great at less than half the cost of the Pfaff one. The cord on the Pfaff one does retract so I had to give up that feature to use this one but it does the job well.
