Hancy's Pounce Pads are a must-have tool for free motion quilting! Pounce Pad Chalks are available in a variety of colors for use with both dark and light fabrics. These pounce pads are intended for use with Hancy's Quilt Stencils. To use, lay your desired stencil on your fabric and gently brush over the screen with your chalked pounce pad. When you remove the stencil, a perfectly chalked quilt design will be visible. Quilt over the chalk design then remove the excess chalk by either washing it away or brushing it away with a lint brush. White chalk can be ironed away or heated away with a hairdryer. DO NOT iron colored chalks as they contain dye that will heat set into fabrics.
