This is a handy little hand crank. I have an old singer that was taken from its cabinet and treadle, this hand crank was perfect for this machine. This hand crank works the opposite of other hand cranks but it is easy to get used to.

Product works well - As advertised.
Generally good. Instructions depict a crank that screws onto the mount (presumably left handed) which would be superior. What you actually get is one held in place by a set screw and its hard to get it tight enough that it won't shift. Don't try and unscrew it like the bundled instructions say! Also the design means that when sewing thick fabric, you can loosen and disengage the clutch knob. That said, it's the only hand crank system that allows you to keep the electric motor attached allowing for hybrid operation so compromises are to be expected. My suggestion would be to move your hand to the wheel itself for thick seams, and to check the tightness of the clutch knob regularly.
Good service and good product. I bought 3 and they were easy to mount and use. I put one on my Singer 221, one on my Singer 99k and one on my Singer 328. I can still run each machine with the motor and when I want to do manual work, such as matched corners or reverse applications, I use the hand crank. When I am finished with manual application I revert to the motor. I also find when I am working with leather I get a far superior finish , such as doing corners, etc. with the hand crank.
