Two things I had to do was add a rubber buffer on the bottem to hold it straight, and I added a spool holder so it would stay in place! Love them!!!!

Using this horizontal thread holder allows the thread to come off smoothly & not twist around the vertical spool holder. It works really well!

Item delivered is not as pictured. Instead of the hole to slide onto your thread holder it is an open upside down "U" of hard plastic which I imagine will loosen and probably snap in 2 given enough usage. Stars for prompt delivery & decent pricing.

I love this little tool -- so handy and it fits on all of my sewing machines. I always use it when I'm stitching with monopoly threads.
