I was so happy to find this part online. It makes winding bobbins and sewing with metallic thread so much easier on my machine. I recently got to start using a Viking 425 sewing machine that use to belong to my mother-in-law. It was missing this spool pin for winding bobbins. There are other ways to do it; but I decided to stick with the user's manual, get the spool pin, and do it the way Husqvarna suggests. Works like a charm and it stows away nicely into the little compartment on my Viking 425 - so it's always easily accessible. Best value I found for this pin on the internet.
