The foot is cumbersome to attach to the machine. And there was no instruction for attaching the accompanying bar or its purpose. When using zig zag, there appears to be an imbalance in that at maximum stitch width, as the needle moves to the right it strikes the presser foot, causing breakage of the needle. Moving left there is adequate space. How can this be corrected?
Foot works as should, although it squeaks. Quilting guide is worthless - too loose in hole so no way to quilt parallel. Used guide from my 60 year old Kenmore and a clip to sew lines.
The item description said this would work with my Iris, but it keeps jumping/jamming somehow
Took a month to get it so I was disappointed in that. I'm glad it had the guide to follow other previously sewn lines (sorry I don't know it's real name) for quilting though as the Singer version didn't have it.
