Hinges came in, replaced both hinges but one broke as soon as I lowered the sewing machine into the cabinet. The pin broke off right at the weld.

The studs appear to be flared better than the 1st pair you sent. Hopefully they'll hold together. I don't know if there's a weight limit on these hinges. And the replacement screws you sent are smaller than the originals. But my old (antique�) Baldwin is quite heavy. I rarely use it, it's been 5 years

The pin on one of the cabinet hinges came out of the hole it was pressed into allowing the sewing machine to come off of the other hinge when the machine was lowered into the cabinet. The machine fell to the floor damaging the bobbin holders on the top of the machine. Not at all impressed with the quality of the hinges.

Supporting pin came loose and fell out of hinge within minutes. Second pin as well. Hinge was completely useless. I took them to a welding shop to firmly attach them to body of hinge. Only then could they support the weight of the sewing machine. The designer apparently had no idea of their intended use and the load stress they had to carry. Buy only if you can get them repaired immediately.
