Purchasing this machine is my first exposure to Coverlock so I knew nothing! I read the manual and watched a couple YouTube videos and have hemmed a dress and pajama top and bottoms - all knit fabrics. They are great! I need to spend some more time to figure out other uses. But I'm very pleased with this machine. It's actually my 4th Janome, all of which I love!

The owners manual lacks. You have to sort of second guess some things. I’ve received better manuals for other machines.
