Stitch Capabilities
Finish garments using 4-thread seaming and 3-thread narrow or wide overlocking, narrow rolled hem, flatlock, and blind hemming. With so many stitches to choose from, your 793PG can finish any garment or home decor item.
Easy Threading
Lay-in-style thread tensions make it easy to thread the upper portion of the 793PG, while a color-coded threading chart takes you step-by-step through the process of threading the lower half of the serger.
Scrap Catcher and Extension Table
Slide the scrap catcher in place at the front of the machine. As you sew, the scraps will be trimmed directly into the receptacle for easy disposal. You can also work on large projects without worrying about your fabric draping too much off the side and causing uneven stitches, as the Janome 793PG serger comes with a bonus extension table—giving you an extra 6" of workspace! (Rotary cutter and awl not included).
Simplified Rolled Hem Conversion
Convert to a rolled hem without hassle by using the easily accessible knife-disengaging knob and sitch finger switch. You'll never have to change your needle plate or remove the stitch finger yourself—meaning you won't have to worry about losing it.
