Why mess with horizontal thread feed. This makes sewing much easier. Also keeps thread from twisting up.
It doesn't fit my Kenmore 385.1778180. My machine had 2 spool pins that could be pushed down into the cover for storage. The rubber bushing allowing that process has crumbled making the pins unusable.
