There is also a thread trimmer button that trims both the bobbin and needle thread at the needle plate level. A few other buttons include a reverse stitch, a lock stitch, and a speed control slider.
Floating Presser Foot
Use this button to raise the presser foot slightly. This feature prevents puckering between stitch lines when sewing multiple layers of fabric. The height of the foot can be set in increments of 0.1mm and can go as high as 2.5mm.
