From its advanced features to its user-friendly design, this machine empowers you to explore your creativity and achieve remarkable sewing outcomes.
Pressure Foot Control
This feature allows you to adjust your foot tension based on your fabric weight so you can get a comfortable feed. The presser foot pressure of the machine has been pre-set and requires no particular adjustment for general sewing ('2' is regular). For sewing with very thin fabric, reduce the pressure by turning the dial counter-clockwise. For heavy fabric, increase the pressure by turning it clockwise. Once the dial is turned all the way up or down, it's not recommended that you keep turning it.
Needle Up/Down
Press the button to change the up/down position of the needle instantly. Also, you can change the needle stop position and even sew a half stitch. You can completely remove your fabric from the machine when the needle is up. When the needle is down, you can reposition your fabric to where you want your next stitch.
Start/Stop Button
For added convenience, the HZL-HT710 is equipped with a start/stop button, allowing you to sew without using the foot pedal. This feature is handy for long sewing sessions or when you need precise control over stitching speed. Pay close attention to your start/stop button; it will change colors to indicate what is happening with your machine.
Green - Ready to start or while sewing
Red - Not ready to start
Orange - In bobbin winding condition
Bobbin Winder
The Juki HZL-HT710 has an easy, accessible top-load bobbin and bobbin winder. When loading your bobbin, you want to ensure your thread is running in a counterclockwise position. Several arrows on your machine show you where to put your thread to ensure it is threaded correctly.
Automatic Needle Threader
Finding the eye of a needle, especially in your machine, is no easy task; the automatic needle threader easily threads the needle. Allowing you to thread your machine in seconds. There is no need to squint or search for the eye of the needle with old-fashioned threaders; this machine does it for you and allows you to start sewing quickly.
Stitches
Choose from 60 built-in utility and decorative stitches, as well as six 1-step buttonholes. Create square, round-end, and keyhole buttonholes with the automatic buttonhole foot that is included with the machine. Juki's HT710 comes equipped with all the stitches you need for quilting, crafting, and garment making.
Attaching Needle
When removing or replacing your needle, always be sure that your needle is in the up position. When putting your needle back into your machine, be sure you cannot push your needle any farther; it should hit the stop pit. Also, be sure your needle is not loose in the machine or that your needle is bent.
Maintenance
Remember, before you start working on your machine, ensure that your machine is off and unplugged. Always clean out your feed dogs and bobbin case of any threads or lint. If the surface of the sewing machine is dirty, lightly soak a cloth in mild detergent, squeeze it out firmly, and then wipe the surface. After cleaning it, wipe the surface again with a dry cloth. Do not use any organic solvents or detergents.
One Touch Buttons
Equipped with five quick access buttons, the HZL-HT710 allows you to switch tasks smoothly and effortlessly. You will find the following options along the front of the machine: needle up/down, lock stitch, start/stop, speed control slider, and reverse stitch. With these buttons, you can raise or lower the needle, prevent your stitches from coming undone, and so much more.
Free Arm
The free arm is essential for hemming sleeves, pant legs, and other cylindrical items. Remove the auxiliary bed to access it. The auxiliary bed also doubles as a convenient storage compartment! In this storage area, you can keep presser feet, seam rippers, thread, and tools. It makes it easier to carry your notions to classes and guild meetings with all the extra space!
