Micro-Lifter (Float Function)
The Micro-Lifter (Float Function) prevents slippage and damage when sewing raised or layered fabric. When using this feature, keeping the same presser foot pressure, the presser foot floats 0 to 4mm above the material, which is beneficial for sewing over thick seams and reduces uneven feeding while quilting.
Custom Switches
Various operations can be carried out by assigning them to the two custom switches. Operations of these switches include needle up/down and inching sewing, thread trimming, presser foot lifting, and canceling function of reverse feed stitching at the beginning and end of sewing.
Clean Stitching with the Needle Thread Presser Device
When using the needle thread presser device, at the beginning of sewing, the end of the needle thread can be tucked under the wrong side of the fabric, making it invisible from the right side of the fabric. Providing a clean finish to the top surface saves you from picking threads.
The operation pedal has several useful features that can easily be performed depending on how much you depress the pedal. Lightly pressing the front part of the pedal will begin low-speed sewing. Further pressing the front part of the pedal will produce high-speed sewing. Pressing the back of the pedal lightly will raise the presser foot, and fully pressing the back of the pedal will actuate the thread trimmer. To stop sewing, allow the pedal to return to its original position.
4.3" Color LCD
Adjust settings like sewing speed, stitch length, thread tension, thread trimming, presser foot pressure, feed operation, changeover between the lockstitch mode and the free motion mode, etc., via the easy-to-use LCD operation panel.
Bobbin Counter
Use the bobbin counter as a guide for replacing the bobbin thread. Counting up or down to predetermine a value, the bobbin count will change by 1 for every 10 stitches. When the preset value is reached, the count-completion screen is displayed.
Four Feed Operation Types
Select the appropriate feed function from the LCD operation panel based on the item being sewn. The four feed operation types include standard for normal fabric, front up for thin fabric or knits, rear up for thick fabrics, and box feed for quilting.
Automatic Thread Trimmer
Eliminate the need for thread picking by activating the automatic thread trimmer. The double-edge driven rotary knife system leaves 3mm or less of thread after thread trimming. This feature can easily be turned on/off on the operation panel.
Aluminum Bobbin | Independent Bobbin Winder
Lightweight aluminum bobbins reduce the imbalance in the bobbin thread tension due to the amount of bobbin thread remaining. The J-150QVP features an independent bobbin winder. Keep a full collection of L-sized bobbins filled with various threads ready for every project!
LED Lighting
An easily accessible switch allows you to adjust the brightness of the LED lighting to one of five levels, reducing eye strain and fatigue.
Automatic Reverse Feed Stitching
