This was my 3rd attempt at finding a replacement for my bobbin case. The first 2 (different manufacturer) looked exactly right and ststed that it was a match - but they just didn't fit. Sewing parts online - had the exact match ad the new bobbin case slip right in its spot - smooth like butter!

The generic bobbin fit my singer machine perfectly. I did have to reset the timing from under the carriage. And adjust tension. So proud I can fix and maintain my machine.

The old bobbin case had a nick on the side. The thread would catch on it and the machine would jam and create a terrible “bird nest.” The new part fixed the problem. The machine sees great now. Thanks!

One thing that gave me a problem: your shipment notice said shipping would be via UPS. I was away the week of probable delivery. I had stopped USPS, but you can’t do that with UPS, so a neighbor took the trouble to check my porch daily for UPS delivery. We worried all week when nothing came. Your tracking info, which I didn’t check until later, announced it had been shipped via USPS. Accurate info at the start would have helped to allay worry. Thanks for the bobbin case, though!

I originally purchased the bobbin case from another vendor who advertised it as fitting my Singer Patchwork - it DIDN'T! But Sewing Parts supplied one that fits and works perfectly and i will be ordering from them again as needed.
