It does not pop off anymore
The covers don't fit my Singer Confidence machine. Extremely disappointed - it doesn't lay as flat as the original (which has been lost) and the 'nipple' spot on the underside dips down so low into the bobbin case that it rubs the bobbin and the thread catches on it and jams up my machine! Can't use them at all!
I put a LOT of miles on my sewing machine. I have replaced both the bobbin housing and the cover plate with parts I ordered from Sewing Parts Online. I am thrilled with the quality of both. The picture shows the cover plate fitting nice and snug in place.
I had a broken cover plate on my singer Athena that I purchased in 2009 for many years now. A part of the plate had chipped off and I'm so relieved to get a replacement part at such a great price and so promptly.

Thought I was ordering Janome parts!
I had a difficult time getting the feeder plate back on after I oiled the bobbin under the bobbin cover. The oil is great, but better instructions on the bottle, as how to extend it. The cover plate seemed at first it wasn't for my machine. I managed to figure it out. It seemed like it was going to snap. I put my old one back in to see what I was doing wrong. I Sewed today, and everything is OK so far. I received my order sooner then expected. My old cover had a white line on it, which made me think it didn't fit. It is the wrong bobbin cover. It needs a black clip on right . Sent pics yesterday of wrong and right cover. I did not get a zig zag foot piece. Wanted to replace original cover. Original was a piece of "plastic" I want a metal foot piece.
