I am thrilled to have my threader working again. Easy to replace it on the machine.
The threader.will help me greatly! Trying to see how to thread a needle is hard and a. timely. task.
Can't get old broken threader off the machine. Customer service told me there are small screws that have to be turned to release the old threader but I don't think that is right. A YouTube video says the old threader should just pop off if you pull it down and another one says to use a chopstick and place it across the handle of the threader and push down and it will pop off. Did not work. So what's the trick to get the old threader off.
callee customer service for help in removing old broken threader. Told me to get eyeglasses screw driver to remove old threader. Did not work. A video on YouTube told to just use a chopstick to push the old threader off and slide new one on. Did not work. Might send new threader back for refund. Maybe my repair man can do it. In the meantime I am removing the needle, putting a threader through the eye and then reinstalling the needle. Works great but time consuming. Wish your product came with some instructions on how to remove old threader.
I'm glad I have this online shop to get parts for my sewing machine. I have purchased several items here. I'm 80 years old and don't see that well anymore, so this needle threader is very important to me. Unfortunately, the tiny hook that grabs the thread is very delicate and breaks fairly often, so I ordered three of them to be ready next time!

Doesn't work quite as well as the original in that it doesn't line up with the thread opening in the needle - have to manually align while trying to keep the thread on the threader!

The tiny hook inside the self threader original to my used machine no longer grabbed my thread. (I must have held onto my thread too long or used too much force??) I watched a YouTube video to learn how to remove the original (easy) & had the new one on in moments (almost as easy). It Works! My slightly aging eyes appreciate it!
