Was wondering if this plate would work on my 1961 Brothers Galaxie Machine - Surprise ! It works great , it is somewhat of a tight fit - but it does the job. So anyone with a late model machine that needs a new slide plate (because the clips go bad) .. You should check this out . The Customer Service was great especially on giving me the exact dimension and very friendly.
It�s the plate that closes up the bobbin compartment. It works well, but it has a �Spring� on the underside that is what holds it in place. Unfortunately, that spring is so still that it makes the plate very difficult to install.
