I used this King Tut thread color #935 (Arabian Nights) for Free Motion Quilting a project finished in colors ranging from pale blue thru teals & darker blues, finally sashing in black. I was very happy with how the thread blended with the quilt colors, showing up just enough. I also bought it in color #964 (Asher Blue) which has been used on previous projects. I love King Tut for final Quilting and usually have an array of colors on hand. The quality of King Tut thread is just what I want to finish a quilt. Highly recommend.
It's a beautiful RAINBOW. King Tut color # 917 should be labeled as such, rather than the lack of color referencing title Pharoah Tales. Or, SPO might take a better picture, as I purchased this based on your photo showing on spool as mostly a GREEN variagation. Can't use as I intended, but will keep when a RYOBG rainbow is needed.
I needed this for a quilt. I have in the frames and sewing parts. Online was the only place I could find it. Thankful to you for your extensive inventory.
The thread is actually wonderful. The problem is that I thought it was solid red. Using it as a quilting thread shows color variation which I wasn’t looking for.
King Tut is the only machine quilting/ thread painting thread that works for me. It almost never breaks like the others. But no one in my area carries it. Ans it cones in such great solid and variegated colors for awesome landscapes.
Just tried it 😄. Even though it's cotton, it doesn't leave all the fuzz and dust while sewing. I like the two-tone colors. They will blend with everything. Love it 😍.
