The Gypsy Quilter's Felted Wool Pressing Mats are must-have tools for quilters and crafters. Available in various sizes for a variety of projects (smaller sizes), this handy pressing surface is made of 100% felted wool and measures approximately 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick. The wool absorbs both heat and moisture through the fabric, giving you a perfect press from both sides. Use the Gypsy Quilter Felted Wool Pressing Mat with or without steam to achieve the desired effect.

It was perfect for what I needed! I made an ironing/cutting station. I put a fabric cover over the wool mats. I had to use two mats but had to cut one down to make it work.
I love it. I can press all my HST and have room for them all on my ironing service. Wish I had a clapper this size.

I love that it’s 40 inches wide with two of them, butted to each other. I don’t have to shift my fabric in order to iron. I can open it up width wide and iron. I’ve had some roll mats in the past that when you put the hot iron on them, they smell bad too. These do not smell bad at all! I love them!

Best purchase ever! Installed it to a piece of 1/2” plywood. Easy to take off when using just normal my ironing board. Doesn’t slip or move when ironing a king sized quilt top! Highly, highly recommended!

I ordered several got these mats. I have three folding tables (6' long) that I have placed them on. After knee and hip replacement surgery, I can no longer get on the floor to pin quilt tops. This is a great way to put down each layer, and pin/press accordingly.
