Laurastar Smart U Ironing System Details
The Laurastar Smart U Ironing System is the pinnacle of Swiss steam innovation—offering effortless, dry-cleaning-quality results from the comfort of home. As the most advanced model in the Laurastar Smart range, it integrates intelligent features and cutting-edge technologies to transform your ironing routine into a quick, professional-grade experience.
Equipped with Sensteam® technology, the Smart U senses your movements and releases steam automatically, while the single optimal temperature setting means no manual adjustments are needed for different fabrics. The Dry Microfine Steam (DMS) penetrates deep into fibers to gently plump, smooth, and sanitize, eliminating 99.99% of bacteria and viruses and 100% of dust mites* without chemicals. For precision care, Pulse Steam delivers perfectly measured bursts of steam, and the Active Board with blower and vacuum holds garments in place or lifts them to prevent creases. The 3D soleplate ensures even steam distribution in a single stroke.
With Bluetooth connectivity, the Smart U pairs with the mobile app for video tutorials, setup help, and maintenance reminders. It’s ready in just 3 minutes, folds down easily for compact storage, and includes the sleek Universalcover Black for comfort, style, and easy folding. Designed for efficiency, mobility, and fabric-safe care, the Laurastar Smart U redefines what an ironing system can do.
Dry Microfine Steam (DMS)
Dry Microfine Steam (DMS) delivers powerful performance, gentle fabric care, and deep hygiene—all in a single, effortless motion. This ultra-fine, high-temperature steam smooths wrinkles while delicately plumping fibers, treating even the most delicate fabrics with care. Working 15 times faster than standard steam generators, DMS doesn’t leave clothes wet and penetrates to the core of textiles to eliminate 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, and fungi, and 100% of dust mites, bed bugs, clothes moths, lice, and nits. With DMS, you get faster, safer, and more effective results—making every press a step toward a cleaner, fresher home.
Active Board
Laurastar’s Active Board transforms your ironing experience with a built-in fan and vacuum system that enhances fabric care and delivers flawless results. The automatic fan function gently inflates the board to create a cushion of air, preventing unwanted creases and protecting delicate fabrics. Meanwhile, the vacuum feature securely holds garments in place, allowing steam to penetrate deeply and helping you smooth out even the most stubborn wrinkles with ease. Together, these technologies breathe new life into your clothes, making ironing faster, gentler, and more effective
Active 3D Soleplate
The Active 3D Soleplate is a unique innovation designed to preserve the beauty of your garments while delivering professional-grade results. Its specially engineered surface gently holds fabric in place, allowing powerful steam to be evenly distributed across the entire soleplate. This one-of-a-kind design smooths out creases in a single pass while refreshing fibers deep down—giving your clothes a crisp, revitalized finish with every press.

Laurastar’s Sensteam Technology takes the guesswork out of ironing by automatically releasing steam as you move the iron—no buttons, no effort. With Sensteam, achieving beautifully finished garments has never been so effortless.
Removable Water Tank
Features a removable water tank that allows for easy, mess-free refills—even mid-session. Its generous capacity supports longer ironing times, so you can power through garments without constant interruptions.
