I know others said this didn't fit Pfaff 230, but it works for mine. I had to stick a needle-nosed plier into each of the holes in the thingy that hooks to the machine, there are triangular metal bits in there that weren't big enough for the posts that need to go in there. That part was easier than attaching the end of the wires to the knee control because it's hard to access, but I managed to do it without any curse words or injuries. The previous cord was the original (as far as I know) and had a short in it. I'm glad to finally have it fixed so that I can sew with confidence that my machine will start every time I press the knee control!
The first cord was defective as the metal inside obstructed the opening for the machine's prongs. The second cord that was send promptly is better but still doesn't fit like the original, how it does work.
This cord is compatible with my Piaf 130, but was at first very difficult to plug into my machine. It also protrudes out a little bit beyond the original plug, making it impossible to lower my machine without unplugging the cord in order to close the sewing cabinet top. Otherwise, yes, it was a good buy.
This product did fit the plug on my machine. BUT...although you stated that it was for my machine, it was not wired the same. I had to completely rewire it to make it work.
What I needed and arrived in a timely manner. Sewing Parts online is my go to place for needed sewing machine parts. Everything I have ordered has come quickly, is very good quality and meets my need. I am always suggesting the site to people when they ask where to get something for their machine. Keep up the good work.
The part works, but the connection casing fell apart - I had to put it back together. The soldering on one of the connections inside the casing was very flimsy. The cord is good, the assembly, not so much.
