I love this light! It pushed in place easily. My machine is a Viking Lily 535 purchased in 1999. The LED light makes all the difference! Yes, it costs more than a regular light bulb but it's well worth it.
I purchased two of these LED bulbs for my Viking Prisma 990. I love the brightness and the cool white color compared to the original incandescent bulbs, which were working but discolored. I wish these new bulbs were very slightly shorter because the bulb covers don't close tightly, but this doesn't affect the function at all.
My sewing machine is so much brighter, this is exactly what I needed.

I am totally THRILLED with these LED bulbs for my Viking Designer 1. What a game changer! I highly recommend replacing your original bulbs with LED. You will be beyond happy. Be sure to purchase the bulb remover because it’s almost impossible to replace bulbs without it.

I have an older model Husqvarna Viking Platinum 950E sewing machine that although it is a great machine, it had a yellow lightbulb that makes it really difficult to see what you are sewing. I saw this led bulb and thought I would try it. Oh my what a difference! My dim yellow light has been replaced with a bright white light and that is a game changer for this 20+ year old machine.

I have been looking for one of these to replace the OEM bulb in my Husqvarna Viking Rose for over a year. The old bulb no longer properly lit up the sewing area under the needle. This arrived, cocooned, in mint condition, and instantly made a huge difference to my sewing.
I purchased this for my old Viking +1 sewing machine. I had previously put this same bulb in the space directly above the needle of this machine and was very pleased with how much brighter it was over the sewing space, so I thought I�d replace the bulb over the sewing surface area, but the bulb is too long to fit there, from what I can tell. I can�t push the bulb in far enough to be able to replace the light cover. Since my machine is in need of servicing anyway, I will let the technician give it a try, in case I�m inserting it incorrectly.
