Gave it a try today and can’t wait to use it on my quilt binding Today I was able to use the bi level foot on my latest baby quilt. It’s a great tool to add to your sewing box.
I was so glad to find this foot. I had been looking for it for quite awhile. I am looking forward to it helping me with machine binding my quilts. I had checked with my local dealer and he said Janome didn't make one! Thank you for stocking this foot!
I finally finished a quilt and used my new foot. It worked beautifully! I have some hand and thumb issues ,and by sewing the binding on with this foot will save my hands and fingers! Glad I have one now!

Just what I needed to sew on bindings.
The photo on the site (at least when I bought this in July '25) was "backwards". Pictured was actually it's more common sister foot, the bi-level foot right. I knew what I was getting though via the part number from the manufacture and was purposely looking for the BL2 foot, which is what arrived. Honestly, I have not used this past some sample sews but I can remember in past projects where I had wished my bi-level foot was raised on the other side. Which is what this is. It works on the samples very well.
I don’t know why I haven’t discovered this foot a long time ago. It made sewing my binding down and using a decorative stitch so much easier. Everything was so straight and lined up so beautifully
