I was really struggling to see my sewing without a light on a newly received Singer model 27. This light gives me good light, stays out of my way, and looks like it belongs on the machine. I'm a happy seamstress now.

Fits perfect on my late 1940's Singer machine.
Perfect fit and a lot easier than trying to rewire old one.

Arrived super fast, and was a perfect replacement for my Pfaff 130.
Added light to a singer 127 treadle
The power cord measures only 22" (not including the plug). This is not sufficient to reach a standard height wall outlet, with the machine mounted to its typical base table. Unlike the original lamp assembly of the Singer Model 15-91, this lamp has no glass magnifier lens attached to the bulb socket casing. Also, unlike the original, the small diameter of the "on/off" switch makes it difficult to grasp and turn. The unit is functional, but it would be helpful to have the above details, particularly the short power cord length, provided to a perspective buyer so to make an informed purchase.
