I ordered this motor and repaired my serger. This was at the beginning of the pandemic. Prompt delivery during trying times. She's still going strong! Thank you.
The motor only lasted about 7 months then it quit working
The repair shop was going to charge me a lot for repair stating the motor was hard to get to and not worth it. Bought the motor and had it repaired in 45 minutes! So grateful there was a site for civilians to purchase parts for repair. The only tools needed were a Phillips screwdriver and a nut driver Thank you for your quick service and availability.
Worked like a charm, only minor issue is that its a slightly lower amperage than the original motor. However this doesn't appear to have affected the little Newhome serger I was repairing though.
We were looking for the motor shown in the image and were sent another motor. The one in the image has a specific pulley on it which is different than the one sent. we were able to swap the pulley with some modification. BUT, the motor that was sent was only 0.75A and the one in the image is of the 0.9A version.
