I expected to be able to just replace the needle bar head but the new head has a shallower hole where the needle bar sits in so I had to replace the whole needle bar. Luckily the new head came with a compatible bar. Ended up being a more time consuming repair than I anticipated but I'm glad at least all the parts I needed came together.
