a simple change of putting in a new needle plate resolved the ongoing problem I had with my Janome. The old plate was pretty worn out
While I like the plate, I wish it had the cover for the bobbin case.
My Janome 8200 began getting an error code for the needle plate so I replaced it with this one. Problem solved! It arrived promptly enough and is a perfect fit.

I'm not able to use it until I can find a bobbin cover. The needle plate that I'm replacing with this needle plate is different so the bobbin cover does not fit this needle plate.

Was surprised that the plastic lid that covers bobbin case, that appears to be part of needle plate, was not included.

Fit my Elna excellence 730 perfectly. Corrected the issue I had with the needle shoving edge of fabric in the needle plate because the needle plate was worn and scarred.
