Perfect. I bought this as a replacement for a machine I purchased on Ebay. the Ebay machine's needle plate was scratched bady. Now I have a needle plate that allows the threads to pass smoothly.

It appears that this replacement part is not by the original manufacturer, as it has a few minor differences, such as the finish is different, the original part the part number stamped into it but the replacement part doesn't. No issues with the part though. Kenmore quit supplying the part, so I'm happy that someone did fill in for them, so I'm not complaining, just giving the facts. It did take a few extra days for the part to get to shipping, but it may have been due to the coronavirus slowdown. I tried calling the company a couple of times through that but got no answer.

Fixed my problem
Used to order these directly from the manufacturer. Not only did the manufacturer charge (much) more but the Sewing Parts online part lasts longer.
