Product Description
Temporary 505 Spray Adhesive can be used for crafting, quilt basting, applique, and machine embroidery without a hoop. This high-tack adhesive removes the need for pinning! 505 Spray is odorless, colorless, and won't gum up the needle. The adhesive evaporates when the fabric is handled and disappears when washed, leaving no residue behind. It is acid-free, solvent-free, VOC compliant, and has no CFCs. Always shake the can well before each use and hold approximately 10" away from what you spray.
For embroidery, place the stabilizer in the hoop, spray 505 on the stabilizer, and then adhere to your fabric or garment without hooping. This method prevents hoop burn on the material. When quilting/patchwork, spray the 505 directly onto the batting, position your quilt top, and then turn your patchwork over, spray again, and place your backing fabric.
If you get the glue on your work surface or hoop, it can be removed with warm, soapy water or DK5 Glue Remover. Please note 505 Spray is highly flammable with the contents under pressure. It needs to be kept out of reach of children. Choose from two sizes of Odif's 505 Spray Adhesive: 6.2 oz or 12.4 oz.

I love using this temporary adhesive spray on my quilted projects. No gumming up on needles, easy to pull apart and reattach without using pins. All layers stay in place, no shifting.

Well I didn’t get to use it. I’m sure it’s a great product. But I left the box in my car for a day and it exploded. Caused great damage to windshield, dashboard, windows, doors, seats, radio screen, and most everything in the front seat area. Thankfully insurance is paying for it, but it’s taking a long time to get my car back! 😭
It works better than other sprays as it does not leave marks and dandruff flakes

This is a good spray adhesive for embroidery. It doesn’t leave any residue nor gum up the needle.
Sticks really good and it doesn’t come up my needle. Easy to put on.

I love the basting spray. It’s a game changer for me.
Cap of the can was broken and smooshed in the box. You sent us the wrong size batting and instead of sending the right size which you said you were doing you refunded our order without letting us know. I had to call to get the right size sent and now have been waiting for a week for the batting. Don’t even know if the can is damaged or if the adhesive will come out properly!

Best of the adhesives, it allows for ease of quilting and no gumming of the needle. Easy to reposition with this product.
I would have bought this but I cancelled this part of my order. The cost to ship this was more than what this already pricey spray costs.

Great product for basting quilts
Love this as it never clogs
Sprayed on clear so I couldn't tell exactly where was already covered but the layers were well adhered. Was able to baste my large throw (72" x 72") with one can but it was feeling low towards the end.
Good product for quick appliqu�, basting or temporary placement
Use this to spray baste quilts. It is not sticky or gummy as other spray adhesives I have tried. Couldn't be without it.
