Had one just like it for over 20 years and has been my go to ruler. Had to get a new one because it got a chip in it and caused my cutter to jump the ruler and cut my finger.
I needed to replace my old 6” x 24” quilting ruler. I had used a friend’s Omni grid ruler with the yellow highlights on the lines and loved it. I feel it helps me to be more accurate and is effective on both light and dark fabrics. I purchased the 6 1/2”, which I think will be helpful for accurately adding the seam allowance all in one step. Looking forward to this, perhaps subtle, but overall improvement in my cutting accuracy
I always wanted this long ruler and there's nothing wrong with it but I'm short and the ruler is almost too long for me to use. I wish it was 5-6 inches shorter.
