The Open Toe Free Motion Spring Foot gives clear visibility when doing free motion quilting or embroidery. Because of the open front, you can easily do stippling or follow a design in the fabric. The spring action keeps the fabric from lifting with the needle as the stitch is being formed which helps eliminate thread breakage with specialty or heavier threads. Be sure to use the appropriate needle for the thread you are using.

Once I figured out how to put it on it worked well. I am learning how to free motion quilt.
It vibrates out, will not stay in. Because it vibrates out, the needle went through the plastic twice. Two brok needles later....and the plastic piece on it broke off!
So easy to do the free motion quilting w/ this foot. Highly recommend it!
This free motion foot is awesome. It fits my Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.2 perfectly.

Easy to use.
I bought this foot for free-motion quilting with my PFAFF 7570. I am not very experienced with free-motion quilting, but the open-toe makes it much easier to see where my stitches are than the darning foot. I tried to find a metal open toe foot, but I couldn't find one for the PFAFF machine. I am glad I purchased this foot, as I was very frustrated using the darning foot.
This performs as described. As a new quilter it doesn�t work as I expected. But that�s my misunderstanding, not yours.

Came quickly, just learning how to use it. It would have been helpful to have instructions on how to apply it to my machine. It took a little bit of time.

It took me awhile to attach this foot to my sewing machine, and needed the help of my machine manual to get the tension right. And I know it will require practice on my part, but so far so good.

I put it on and ever got to take the first stitch. Because I didn’t use it right away, they refused to honor the purchase. I no longer order from here but have bought many presser feet from an alternate site since.
Received Open To Foot. It appears broken. I contacted customer service. I have provided them with photo of part, my paperwork and I am awaiting info. Do they want me to return item ( which I will do upon request)? They ask me if I still wanted item. The answer is YES.
