How to Use:
- Disengage the IDT™ System If your machine has the Integrated Dual Feed, be sure to turn it off.
- Remove the Presser Foot Holder Take off the presser foot holder and attach the Open Toe Free-Motion Foot to the presser foot bar. Make sure the pin on the foot rests securely on the needle clamp screw.
- Secure the Foot From behind the foot, press it on firmly with your index finger and tighten the screw to hold it in place.
- Lower the Feed Dogs Drop the feed dogs manually to prepare for free-motion sewing.
- Select Your Stitch Choose a straight stitch for controlled, clean lines.
- Start Sewing Move your fabric manually in smooth, even motions while keeping a steady sewing speed. Since the feed dogs are lowered, you're in full control of the stitch length and direction.
This setup is excellent for free-motion quilting, stippling, and embroidery—giving you both freedom and precision in your creative stitching!
